What does Cork City Local Employment Service do?
The Cork City Local Employment Service (CCLES) is a city-wide service aimed at supporting jobs seekers in their efforts to find suitable work.
Who can use the service?
The service was set up specifically for those who experience most difficulty in accessing work, education or training opportunities in Cork City.
- If you could use extra support, we will provide it. Just call in and talk to us.
- We do not charge for our service.
Where are the Cork City LES offices?
We have 8 outreach offices throughout the Cork City. Mayfield, Blackpool, Churchfield / Gurranbraher, Knocknaheeny, City Centre, Togher, Mahon and Head Office in Blackpool Retail Park.
Opening hours :
Monday to Friday
9.00 am - 1.00 pm
2.00 pm - 5.00 pm

What services are provided by Cork City LES?
One-to-one meeting to:
- Listen to you and gain an understanding of your circumstances.
- Offer support and information so that you can consider all your options.
- Support and guide you back into the workplace
Ongoing support in your search for employment includes:
Information on jobs includes:
- Access to job vacancies in daily newspapers, job websites and FÁS
- Access to employer contacts.
Information on training and education opportunities includes:
- Education and training information e.g. FÁS and Failte Ireland, City and Local Colleges
- Registration for FÁS courses
- Access to employment programme vacancies e.g. Community Employment.
- Information on available financial supports including Back to Education Allowance and VTOS etc.
