- Services for Unemployed: to provide socially excluded and long-term unemployed people with accessible education and training in order to improve their opportunities to develop and progress.
YOUTH
- Community Based Youth Initiatives/Reducing Educational Disadvantage: to tackle disadvantage associated with youth who are identified as ‘at risk’ of underachievement.
Adult
- Structured progression.....adult education supported in 10 community areas in Cork City
- Rehabilitation of Exoffenders....adult education supported in one community based project
- Diploma in Applied Business Computing.....3rd level course delivered off campus in community area
- Diploma in Non-formal Guidance....3rd level course for community volunteers delivered in University College Cork
- Millennium Partnership Fund.......financial, academic and personal supports for students in need of assistance incompleting 3rd level further education studies.
Youth
- Early Learning Initiative.......educational interventions targeted at children eg outdoor learning, language development etc.
- Primary Homework......homework clubs based in primary schools in disadvantaged areas
- Supervised Study......supervised study based in secondary schools
- Supplementary Tuition.....extra tuition in the area of Science and Mathematics
- Traveller Education......additional supports for Traveller students in primary and post-primary schools
