- University College Cork, Cork Institute of Technology and Cork City Partnership are offering a Diploma that aims to give individuals highly relevant IT skills. The programme is taught at a dedicated facility in Faranferris, on the Northside of Cork city.
Diploma in Non-Formal Guidance....3rd level course for community volunteers delivered in University College Cork
- This National University of Ireland (NUI) Certificate/Diploma in Non-Formal Guidance is a two-year, part-time adult education course. The Course is designed to enhance the personal development of participants and increase their awareness of their own responses and attitudes to others with particular emphasis on attitudes on young people.
Millennium Partnership Fund......financial, academic and personal supports for 3rd level and PLC level disadvantaged students.

This fund aims to enhance and improve participation and completion
rates of students from target areas in Cork city and county, currently
participating in higher or further education courses with a
higher education link, by providing additional financial, academic and
personal supports.
- The Fund offers a range of supports to eligible students which include
financial, academic and personal supports. Eligible students must have
been accepted to participate on or are currently participating in a
UCC, CIT, or City of Cork VEC FE course with a higher education link.
Students must be on full-time courses and in receipt of a VEC or local
authority maintenance grant. Other students may be eligible in
exceptional circumstances.
